Dr. Jeffrey Hammond, DPM

Dr. Jeffrey Hammond, DPM is a board-certified podiatrist and the founder of Hammond Foot and Ankle. Dr. Hammond grew up in Provo and spent his childhood observing his grandfather, Dr. Roy A. Hammond, treat patients in his private practice. The impact Dr. Roy Hammond had on his patients as a kind and knowledgeable general practitioner was what first inspired Jeff to follow a career in medicine.

Dr. Hammond received his Bachelor of Science in geography from Brigham Young University, and his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio.

He honed his expertise during an extensive podiatric medicine and surgery residency with reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery (PMSR/RRA) at University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio, where he held the position of chief resident. Jeff then continued working in Cleveland at Southwest Foot and Ankle Associates before he returned home to Provo in 2021.

Along the way, Jeff met his wife, Maggie, and the two attended medical school simultaneously. They now have two sons, Robbie (4 years old) and Graham (5 months old). In the two years after moving to Provo in 2021, while preparing to open Hammond Foot and Ankle in 2023, Jeff was also a stay-at-home dad to Robbie. In addition to spending time with his sons, Jeff enjoys golfing, working in the yard, and hiking.
